Increase
In SIA Fuel Surcharge
Singapore Airlines will increase its fuel surcharge on passenger
tickets from May 2005. These increases are highlighted in the following
table:

To-date, the following fuel surcharges will apply for tickets sold
and issued in May 2005:
From 1 May 2005,
1. US$10 per sector for travel between SIN and South East
Asian destinations of KUL, BWN, BKK, MNL, PEN, DPS, JKT, SUB, SGN
and HAN.
2. US$5.30 per sector for travel between SIN and HKG.
3. US$12 per sector for travel between SIN and TPE.
4. US$15 per sector for travel between HKG and SFO.
5. US$22 per sector for all other sectors worldwide. From
6 May 2005, this fuel surcharge will be increased to US$30 per sector.
Reminder To Use Passport Name In PNR
And Tickets
Please ensure that passport name is used in both PNR and tickets.
This is to avoid inconveniencing the passengers unnecessarily at time
of check-in and boarding.
Additional Flight To Beijing (PEK)
Singapore Airlines will operate an additional flight to Beijing (PEK)
from 1 June 2005. The schedule of this flight is attached below.

Revision Of Fuel (YQ) Surcharge
|

Thai Airways will increase fuel surcharge (YQ) on all THAI tickets/PTAs
issued/reissued/sold on/after 1 May 2005 for the following areas:-
a) Regional/Middle East increase from US$10.00 to US$15.00
per flight coupon.
b) Intercontinental sectors including Australia and New Zealand increase
from US$20.00 to US$25.00 per flight coupon.
c) Code share flight TG/LY to/from Tel Aviv increase from US$23.00
to US$31.00 per flight coupon.
d) THAI domestic sectors - US$2.50 per flight coupon.
Silk
Air will be increasing the fuel surcharge from 6 May 2005 for travel
to China and India sectors. The fuel surcharge will be raised from
US$22 per sector to US$30 per sector. The higher fuel surcharges
will apply to all MI/Interline tickets sold, issued or reissued worldwide
on/after 6 May 2005 for travel on MI China & India sectors.
The surcharge to other sectors remains unchanged at US$10 per sector.
Royal
Brunei Airlines would increase the fuel surcharge
as follows:
All tickets issued on/after 15 May 2005, YQ surcharge would be US$15
or S$26 per coupon between Singapore and Bandar Seri Begawan and
US$12 or S$20 per coupon between Bandar Seri Begawan and other
destinations.
