Singapore Airlines – Electronic Tickets For Travel To Ahmedabad

Singapore Airlines passengers can now travel ticketless to Ahmedabad. Paper tickets issued for travel to Ahmedabad will be subjected to a surcharge of S$30. With this addition, Singapore Airlines now has a total of 52 destinations that accept ticketless travel.

Flight Check-in

Lufthansa Telephone Check-In Facility
Passengers travelling on Lufthansa German Airlines can now check-in via their Telephone Check-In service hotline. This service is available from 7am to 7pm local time. Check-in is possible either on the day of departure or from 6pm the night before.

Passengers have to provide the following information when calling the check-in service hotline –

- Passenger Name
- Flight Number
- Date of Travel
- Class of Travel
- Destination

Passengers are requested to arrive at Changi Airport Terminal 2 no later than 1 hour from the scheduled departure time. Boarding passes may be collected and bags checked in at the Lufthansa check-in counters.

Fuel Surcharge

Thai Airways – Singapore/ Bangkok V.V. Fuel Surcharge Reduction

Thai Airways International has reduced their fuel surcharge for Singapore – Bangkok – Singapore sectors from US$30 to US$20. The surcharge applies to all passengers, including children and infants.

Changes In Scandinavian Airlines Operations Between Singapore And Bangkok

With effect from 26 March 2006, Scandinavian Airlines will endorse a code share agreement with SWISS Airlines on the Bangkok / Singapore / Bangkok route.

This means that SAS will cease their own operation between Bangkok and Singapore, in favour of the code share agreement with SWISS, but will maintain the operation between Bangkok and Copenhagen.

Bangkok Airways Increasing Singapore / Koh Samui / Singapore Flight Frequency

Bangkok Airways will increase its frequency on the Singapore - Koh Samui - Singapore route to a daily service with effect from 18 April 2006. Their daily flight schedule will be:
